Terms of Service

StoryCraft Audio is an AI-powered personalised audiobook creator. Parents and caregivers use the Service to generate custom audio stories for children. Stories are generated using artificial intelligence and are not reviewed by humans before delivery.

You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to create an account. The Service is intended for use by parents and caregivers on behalf of children, not for direct use by children.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately at support@storycraftaudio.com if you suspect unauthorised access.

You agree not to:

• Use the Service to generate content that is illegal, harmful, abusive, or sexually explicit
• Attempt to bypass the content safety system or rate limits
• Use the Service to train or fine-tune AI models
• Resell, sublicense, or commercialise outputs without our written consent
• Scrape, crawl, or automate access to the Service

Stories are generated by AI (Anthropic Claude) based on your inputs. We include a content safety filter but cannot guarantee that all outputs are appropriate for all ages. You are responsible for reviewing stories before sharing them with children.

We do not claim ownership of stories generated using your inputs. You own the outputs subject to Anthropic's usage policies. You grant us a limited licence to store and deliver the generated content as part of the Service.

By uploading a voice sample through the Family Voices feature, you confirm that you have the right to use that voice for this purpose and that the recorded person has consented. You may not upload voice recordings of other people without their explicit consent.

Free accounts are subject to daily and monthly story creation limits. We reserve the right to adjust these limits at any time with reasonable notice.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR THAT AI-GENERATED CONTENT WILL BE ACCURATE OR APPROPRIATE.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

We may suspend or terminate your account for violation of these Terms, with or without notice. You may delete your account at any time from the Settings screen.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via the Service or email. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996.
